Co-Op and Condo Inspections for the NY Metro Area
Before investing your money in a coop or condominium, it is important to be aware of any unusual issues with the unit. Our quality inspections will provide you with the information you need. Our Professional Engineers and Registered Architects, who have surveyed thousands of condos and co-ops, will perform Basic Inspections (unit only), and can additionally perform Complete Inspections (unit plus common areas shared with the complex). In addition to serving coop/condo homeowners, we also perform inspections for Community Associations, including reserve fund studies. This financial analysis will determine the amount of money that must be set aside for maintenance on shared systems (i.e. hot water, roofing, HVAC, etc). The goal in mind is to prevent high increases and special assessments for common charges.

Home Inspection firms, in general, cannot give a written structural opinion, despite the qualifications of the inspector. Our detailed written report will also include the following:

After the report is issued, our engineers are available to all our New York area clients, as often as is needed, to clarify any questions that may arise pertaining to the property both before and after the purchase. A personal sit down or conference call is available upon request.
